bond and to increase awareness of one of the fastest growing industries in the country. Hosted
as one-day national meet-and-greet events around the country, Pet Socialite Events highlights the
best-of-the-best pet products, companies and trends to give national magazines, talk show producers,
newspaper reporters and bloggers, an easy and fun opportunity to experience new products, meet new
sources and become inspired to write thought-provoking stories. Pet Socialite Events was founded
in 2009 by pet industry consultant Charlotte Reed.

Charlotte Reed
Charlotte Reed is a national pet care and lifestyle expert. Renowned for her pet know-how, energy and wit,
she’s a popular television and radio guest, writer, spokesperson and lecturer. In 1995, she abandoned life
on Wall Street as a corporate lawyer to open Two Dogs & A Goat Incorporated, a premiere, full-service, pet
care provider in New York City. She is the author of
The Miss Fido Manners Complete Book of Dog Etiquette
(Adams Media, 2007). Charlotte is the
First for Women magazine Pet Solutions columnist, The Pet
Socialite blogger for NBC Petside.com and a popular guest on national programs like Fox & Friends, The
Nate Berkus Show and Martha Stewart Radio. Reed is also the Editor-in-Chief of the new dog magazine,
Canine Culture, Arts and Style. In addition to her writing career, she also works as a pet industry
consultant. Although many pet product companies have hired her as a spokesperson, she also works
with advertising, marketing, event and social media firms as a pet trend expert, providing a unique
understanding of pet consumer behavior. Charlotte is the owner of five dogs, two cats and one
